AAICC RCOG West Zone MRCOG Revision Course is organized twice a year in January and in July. It is the official course of the West Zone and recognized by the RCOG.
Course Directors are Dr. Sabrina Bokil and Dr. Meeta Nakhare

Course is conducted at:
Maharashtra Medical Foundation’s Joshi Hospital,
Near Kamla Nehru Park, Pune 411004.

Residential facilities are available on campus for those candidates who need them.

 
  DR. SABRINA BOKIL  
 
She is a Cons. Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, in Private Practice in Pune for the last 20 years.
A graduate/Post graduate from Topiwala National medical College and Nair Hospital, Mumbai.
She has her own nursing home in Pune—Dwidal Nursing Home
10 years after passing her MD, she started preparing for the MRCOG and passed part I in 2001 and part II in 2003.
Being one of the rare candidates to successfully pass the examination without prior work experience in the UK.
She was encouraged to start MRCOG training programme in India by the then President of RCOG, Mr. MattCarty. Accordingly she has started the course along with Dr. Meeta Nakhare and is successfully running it for past 3 years.
 
     
  DR. MEETA NAKHARE  
 
She is the Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Joshi and Ratna Memorial Hospital, Pune. These Hospitals are managed by the Maharashtra Medical Foundation Trust.
A graduate/Post graduate from B. J. Medical College, Pune.
She went to the UK and passed her PLAB.
Following this, she has trained at various reputable institutes in the UK and completed her MRCOG .
She has worked in the UK for ten years and helped run courses for MRCOG in the UK.
Her special interests are Colposcopy and Gynae-Oncology.
Her experience of working in the UK and in India are invaluable in guiding the doctors preparing for the MRCOG.
 
     
  DR. NITU BAJEKAL  
 
She is our guest faculty from the UK
A Consultant at the Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital, she has a flourishing private practice as well.
She teaches the MRCOG course at the Royal Free Hospital.
She lives in London with her husband Rajiv, who is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, two lovely daughters and one dog.
Dr. Nitu Bajekal has been attending every course and provides valuable insights into the UK system and guides candidates as regards their presentation and approach.
Dr. Nitu has been accepting our candidates with her as Observers at the Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital, UK.
 
     
 
Additionally, there are several expert doctors who are part of the faculty.
 
 
 

All discussions/lectures/presentations are on multimedia and are available to all candidates free of cost.

Every course is unique and there is never any repetition except for the basic instructions.
 
Each day, new topics, new clinical situations are tackled/discussed and all in a very interactive manner.
